About The Role

The Early Years Alliance is looking for tutors to plan and deliver workshops and non-accredited short courses in accordance with the quality improvement standards, policies and procedures of the Early Years Alliance. Successful candidates will join our list of approved tutors. Inclusion on the tutor bank list does not guarantee the offer of work.

The Early Years Alliance are looking to recruit tutors in the London Boroughs of Islington, Hammersmith & Fulham, Wandsworth, Newham, Enfield & Barnet, Hounslow & Richmond and surrounding areas.
Main Duties:
  • To plan and teach courses as agreed with the line manager and to agreed standards and timescales.
  • To support learners' additional learning needs as appropriate
  • To provide schemes of work and update courses as required 
  • To undertake an on-going process of self assessment and provide reports as requested.
  • To attend in–service training as requested.
  • To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification Level 3 Award in Education & Training (equivalent or above)
  • Experience in the field of early years care and education and/or other relevant curriculum area
  • An understanding of how to support literacy, language and numeracy and other additional learning needs
