About The Role
The Early Years Alliance is the largest early years membership organisation and voluntary sector provider of quality affordable childcare and education in England. An educational charity, the Alliance represents the interests of over 14,000 member settings who deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year. We are looking to recruit a Flexible Childcare Practitioner to work within Milton Keynes.

We are looking to recruit a flexible childcare practitioner who will provide inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending our creche and stay and play sessions. You will help maintain a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment.
 
 
Main Duties: 
  • To ensure all services are implementing the Charity’s operational policies and procedures.

  • Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that the Early Years Alliance values are maintained and to provide a high quality service.

  • Supervise and support children at all times.

  • Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of setting staff.
  
Essential Criteria:
 
  • Commitment to Early Years Alliance aims and strategic objectives, in particular to meeting the needs of young children and their families.

  • Knowledge of child development and EYFS framework and to recognise the benefits of play.

  • Previous experience of working with young children.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, and adapt to a variety of different working environments and teams.
